Course Description

We are born with the ability to speak, however, we are not born with the ability to effectively communicate except by how we grew up communicating with our parents, friends and sibling(s). Now, all of us know that that kind of communication most of the time will not hold up to the diverse and complicated world that we live in today. As we grow into the corporate world, college and intimate relationships we find that communicating with people that we don't know or people that we want to know becomes a bit challenging and most of the time we assume they have the problem because they don't understand us.

Well, this course is to give you a practical way of leaning about communication with the two of you. Why the the two of you? Because we believe that learning how to communicate you thoughts and concerns with the most intimate part of you, it make you more responsible in your other relationships.

This course will be taught and hopefully understood as we explain effective communication a simple and practical way. The end goal is to get you to the clear understanding of why you and your partner bump heads sort of speak when trying to convey a concern through conversation. This course will also be a reminder to you that in order for you to get something out of any conversation with anyone you must listen as well. Not, to just listen on the surface but to listen intently and closely.

This course is for anyone or couples that want to work on how they speak and listen to each other. You will also have an opportunity to listen to an audio and/or video of the instructor as well as for your clarity and understanding.
